Sergio is a professional electric guitar and guitar player and initiated into music early, when he was 5 years old at Musical Casa Verde Institute in São Paulo where he has had the first contact with musical instruments.
He finished the school and started studying at EM&T with great guitar master players in Brazil as follow: Fabio Santini, Wanderson Bersani, Michel Leme and for 4 years studied with the master of the master guitar players, Mozart Mello, and Sergio graduated on Fusion style. He also studied Rock style with Walmir Tavares (Editor of Guitar Class at that time).
In 2010 he was invited to give electric guitar and popular guitar classes at EM&T Santos and to coordinate the IV&T (Guitar Institute). He gave classes at EM&T Morumbi and he is currently one of the guitar teachers at EM&T Jabaquara in the IG&T (Electric Guitar Institute).
Additionally he is a columnist on Portal dos Guitarrista web site and he publishes electric guitar lessons in a weekly basis for initial and advanced students.
He shared the stage in music festivals with respected musicians, such as: Michel Leme, Mozart Mello, Fábio Augusto, Thiago Mineiro, Mauro Hector, Zuzo Moussawer, Fernando Tavares, Kiko Loureiro, Bruno Tessele, Glécio Nascimento, Alexandre Faccas, Fabio Ferreira among others.
In 2014 he was invited to participate at Santos Jazz Festival who counted on several names, as follow: João Bosco, Cesar Camargo Mariano, Yamandu Costa, Trio Corrente, Shirley King, Hamilton de Holanda, among others. Currently he is working with his instrumental trio band \"Sergio Casalunga Trio\" and he is preparing his first CD with own music compositions with several styles as Fusion, Jazz, Erudite and Brazilian Music and special musician guests.
